Common questions about business IT and cybersecurity.

Straight answers to the questions businesses commonly ask when
evaluating support, security, infrastructure, and technology planning.

What is managed IT?

Managed IT generally means an outside technology partner assumes
ongoing responsibility for defined parts of your environment, such as
user support, endpoint administration, monitoring, cloud systems,
security controls, vendors, and technology planning.

Can Clutch work with an internal IT person or team?

Yes. A co-managed model can divide responsibility between internal
staff and an outside partner based on skills, workload, systems, or
projects.

What does cybersecurity support include?

The scope depends on the environment, but common areas include identity
and access, endpoint protection, Microsoft 365 security, network
controls, vulnerability reduction, backups, monitoring, and practical
risk management.

Do you work on networks and physical infrastructure?

Clutch works across networks and infrastructure, including switching,
routing, firewalls, Wi-Fi, connectivity, structured cabling-related
planning, and the systems that connect users and business technology.

How do we know what level of support we need?

Start with the business environment: users, systems, locations,
operational dependencies, security exposure, internal capabilities,
current problems, and upcoming changes. The service model should follow
from those requirements.
